These are some of my thoughts about .NET

My History:

My first SWE/Tech role (2017-2020) was for a MSFT shop, so lots of SQL Server (mostly BI/Data Engineering - our main client used SQL/stored procedures for entire ETL pipelines), but also ADO.NET & Entity Framework depending on the project. We also used SAP HANA for a few projects. I spoke at a couple of SQL Conferences (SQL Saturdays & SQL Grillen) during this timeframe and attended several more.

While contracting with Revgen/Wheel Pros 2021-current, we use an AWS Athena/Glue(PySpark)/S3 data engineering stack.

And of course I'ved used MySQL, SQLite, Web SQL, and a few others for side projects.
